Hog Roasts and Barbeques
We have two fantastic pieces of equipment for Bbqs and Hog Roasts. Theses machines were manufactured in Germany and developed for the Oktoberfest Beer Festival in Bavaria.
The Hog Roast can roast a whole pig up to 65kgs. The roasting time is between six and seven hours. The pork is seasoned and the crackling produced is crisp and moreish. (guests have been known to make off with the crackling in the past).
Joints of Pork or Beef can be roasted with different marinades and in particular the beef can be cooked to rare or medium depending on the taste of the customer.
A whole Lamb can be roasted. The lamb would typically be 30kgs and roast in four hours. A lamb is only ideal for the smaller event as the meat yield is much smaller.
Eighteen chickens at a time can be roasted on the Hog Roast using the 3 rotisserie spits.
The bbq/chargrill unit is very flexible, perfect for griddled chicken, burgers, sausages, steaks, and the char griller is ideal for swordfish or tuna steaks. Also great for bacon butties at midnight to finish your wedding celebration.
